MEET C-STEEZE
Christian “C-Steeze” Sutton is a prolific public speaker, community organizer, youth advocate, spoken word artist, and poet who has inspired countless individuals from all age groups but particularly marginalized youth, to unlock their full potential and become the future’s promising leaders.
Despite hailing from modest beginnings, C-Steeze has put in great effort to attain everything he has. He encountered almost insurmountable barriers, including personal and academic challenges from an early age, which has influenced and shaped him into the person he’s today. Defying the odds, he transformed his suffering and hardships into motivation for others, becoming living proof of triumph over adversity. He’s not just playing a role on stage, he is living it every day of his life.
C-Steeze’s performances are a sight to behold, as he exudes an infectious energy that leaves everyone in the audience on their feet. His talent extends beyond his rhyming abilities, as he is a master of connecting with individuals from all walks of life, whether they come from the suburbs or the hood, and regardless of race or ethnicity. He’s not about the hype or entertainment; he’s intentional about speaking truth to power. Ever with his ear to the ground, speaking to the struggles of those who are often overlooked by society, he lets people know they have a voice that will be heard, loud and clear.
Chris values integrity, positivity, servicing others and treating others fairly and with respect. He guides and encourages individuals to become the best version of themselves by motivating and inspiring them to adopt a positive mindset and shift their thinking. He derives joy from uplifting others and understands the power of his words and story to positively influence someone’s attitude.
Chris ultimate objective is to have an impact all across the globe through his lecture and actions along with positively changing as many lives as possible. He wants the world to know that, despite struggling academically in his earlier years and failing multiple classes, he overcame those challenges and achieved academic success. He obtained an Associate’s in Business Technology and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from the University Of The District Of Columbia, graduating cum laude.
